Something you need to know...

...before over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house you go.

(Or in our case, over the Whitestone and up the New York State Thruway.)

Courtesy of the Libertarian-minded Center For Consumer Freedom, it's the "Thanksgiving Edition" of an irregular "Don't Sue The Hand That Feeds You" feature.

CfCF even provides, in PDF form, a "Thanksgiving Liability and Indemnification Agreement" to protect Thanksgiving dinner hosts from litigious-minded guests.

(Don't seat a guest at your Thanksgiving table without a signed copy.)

Yes, it seems there are those whose strategy is to over-indulge, groan and gripe, then sue because the meal providers failed to provide the necessary "Warning" against excessive eating, not to mention the risks of Tryptophan!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving... but always prepare for the worst!

Libertarians should remember and be thankful for those roads they are driving over to Grandmother's house. They were paid for by taxes.

Okay, the tryptophan bug can't get to your house soon enough! Someone needs their nap!

Where do you find this stuff? Have a wonderful day.

In truth, that site came courtesy of Rob, one of my Lodge 1201 brothers.

Happy Thanksgiving, Dean and all his followers. I'm sure we all agree that on our list of what to be thankful for, Dean is in the top ten. Keep up the good work.

My blushes.

For my part I'm thankful that my wife is a medical professional, that my kids are healthy and doing things they like, that Mayor Teller is in good health, and that the Village has competent professionals running the Building and Police departments, and the Village Office.

NOT to mention that your wife is sweet on you, you lucky guy, you!

Yes, dear.
