This is just crap journalism!

I've got nothing for actor/director/producer James Franco; not a big fan, and tend to have negative feelings because of the creepy, villainous roles he's taken over his 21-year film career.

Today this story surfaced on an entertainment site:

James Franco accused of sexually inappropriate behavior by five women

"Five women have come forward with allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior against Franco, claims the actor has previously denied as 'not accurate.'"

Read the report and pay close attention to the sources and the circumstances!

From actress Violet Paley:

"I was talking to him, all of a sudden his penis was out. I got really nervous, and I said, 'Can we do this later?' He was kind of nudging my head down, and I just didn't want him to hate me, so I did it."

The woman acknowledged that she and Franco had subsequently continued a consensual sexual relationship.

Actress Sarah Tither-Kaplan...

"...claimed Franco removed protective plastic guards that covered actresses’ vaginas while he simulated oral sex on them during a scene for his 2015 feature 'The Long Home.'"

(n.b.: That film appears to still be "in production."

So where's the story/stories with those two?

Two of the other women's complaints are pretty lame, leaving only the contemporaneous tweet by reclusive actress Ally Sheedy who took exception to Franco participating in the Golden Globes support for women theme, suggesting that Franco was why she had "left the film/tv business."

She later deleted that and other related tweets, causing some question about what she meant since following their one professional experience together off-Broadway in 2014, she had hugged Franco and told a reporter that he was "a beautiful, generous man."

The entire Entertainment Weekly article remains lightweight and with precious little substance... just crap!

Career advice...

...for actresses Paley and Tither-Kaplan with their combined 26 credits in five years: go home and marry the guy. Your Hollywood careers are over!
