Shame, shame on ESPN...

...for affording airtime to the troll parading across the globe hyping the supreme abilities of his hoopster sons!

LaVar Ball: Lakers 'don't want to play for' Luke Walton

"You can see they're not playing for Luke no more. "Luke doesn't have control of the team no more. They don't want to play for him."

This was from an exclusive interview the senior Ball gave ESPN's Jeff Goodman from Birstonas, Lithuania where his two younger sons are set to make their professional debuts this week.

That has to undermine the morale of the Lakers, who've lost nine straight games and are stuck in last place in the Pacific Division, 20 games behind first place Golden State.

The implication of papa Ball's assertion is that his eldest son, 20-year old rookie Lonzo Ball and Los Angeles' top pick (#2 overall) in the 2017 NBA draft, has been talking out of school, something his teammats won't appreciate.

Somewhere in the (hopefully-not-too-distant) future someone should council the sons of LeVar Ball about becoming emancipated minors before NBA teams decide that drafting one of the sons has too big a downside if LaVar is part of the deal.

(It's too late for Lonzo, but LiAngelo and LaMelo still have a chance to cut loose from their endlessly self-aggrandizing father. he man makes Donald Trump sound modest.)

As for failing ESPN, what price ratings for their recent downsizing desperation?
