Day of Infamy for not only...

...the United States on the 76th anniversary of Japan's sneak attack on American military bases at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, but disgraced Westhampton Beach Police Officer Joseph Pesapane who was formally and finally separated from the force from which he had been suspended (for at least the third time) since early 2014.

(Translation: Joe's been fired by the Village Board!)

Can this really be the end of the sad Pesapane saga that began more than eight years ago?

Probably not... if he can find an attorney who'll take him on as a client and litigate against Westhampton Beach.

The last one to represent Pesapane in an action against the Village, a lawyer whose palms perspired at the sound of a siren in the distance, resigned his client, apparently when he realized the young man was a head case.

Suspended for 3 years and he couldn't Find another job? That's called a clue.

It ain't like the old days, especially where unions are involved! (Think CSEA.)
