GOT - IV, 1...

...was splendid, a triumph of a season debut in which young Arya Stark was reunited with "Needle." the sword her bastard half-brother Jon Snow had custom-made for her before he left to join the Night's Watch.
Remembering the words of her Braavosi fencing master, Syrio Forel, when she came across Polliver, the arrogant lout who claimed it from her in the Riverlands two years ago, she relieved him of her weapon and used "the pointy end" to dispatch him, thus removing Polliver's name from her prayer kill list without having to rely on the sinister offices of Jaqen H'ghar.
(And she rode away on a fresh white mount, another spoil of her kill.)
The rest of the episode was excellent as well... yes, there were dragons and bare-breasted wenches, but alas, no direwolves, and that thorough rotter, Joffrey Baratheon, still lives!
Sunday evenings cannot come fast enough!
