Something else I did not know!

And I learned it from Curbed Hamptons, of all places, a site dedicated to... ack!... real estate.

I didn't know Andrew Geller from Yuri Geller, much less that the former was the designer for the house on Dune Road which I nicknamed "the lumber brassiere" more than 50 years ago.

(Architect Geller himself called it "the Box Kite.")

Behold the Lumber Brassiere in it's youth!

More formally, it is known as "The Pearlroth House," and it seems to be renown well beyond the borders of Westhampton Beach.

It even has its very own Website, and has survived everything from Hurricane Donna to Superstorm Sandy!

Where is it now? It was moved, correct?

O hell no! It was still there last I looked. Next time you're out, we'll ride down and look at it.
