Welcome back...

...from Afghanistan, members of the 106th Rescue Wing of the Air National Guard Security Forces Squadron stationed at Gabreski Airport.

There were fueling stops along the way... Kurdi­stan, Germany, Baltimore and Philadelphia (for mechanical repair)... so it was a three-day journey before touching down on Long Island.

Westhampton would have been nice, but since the final legs were aboard a US Airways Flight, Islip/MacArthur where they were warmly welcomed, had to suffice!
