Can't tell the suspended officers...

...apart without a score card or a crib sheet, eh, Bill Keahon?

From 27East's "Suspended Westhampton Beach Police Officer Challenges Punish­ment" (similarly in The Southampton Press Western Edition):

"Mr. Keahon said Officer Pesapane recently had a disc removed from his back and was unable to attend the hearing because he was recuperating.

'He has a plate and four screws in it now and he's under a lot of medication,' Mr. Keahon said. 'He couldn't come to the hearing that day, so we're rescheduling it. I imagine it will be within the next three weeks.'"

Only that it was Officer Michael Bruetsch who "couldn't come to the hearing that day" and called in at 9:00 am for a 10:00 am hearing.

The biggest problem when lying is a way of life, is keeping those lies straight.

In this instance, apparently the liars as well.

It is a wise attorney who remembers which client is cooking up which excuse.
