Old Business...

The curious matter of the Valero Port-a-Potty has been resolved and that temporary sanitary facility has joined the ranks of los desaparecidos... after Village Code Enforcement Officer Bridget Napoli paid an official visit to the fuel station at the corner of Montauk Highway and Old Riverhead Road and informed Fratelli Chase that they needed to get off the pot and, in this instance, get the pot off the property.

Now, about those missing 18 minutes from September's televised Village Board of Trustees' meeting; Mr. Harris Palmer, the resident who first noticed the unexplained "edit," informs me that they have been restored to the Channel 22 version.

Good... residents need to be able to rely on the integrity of those cablecasts!

It has been suggested that it should be made clear that the "Tony Jo Berk" who often posts comments to this Blogsite, is, unless she is more devious than anyone imagines, not the first term Village Trustee of similar name, Toni-Jo Birk.

Who would want to call themselves Toni-Jo unless they had to?

Velvet paws, now, Kitty!
