From the current "E-flyer" for Micole's:

"Pan Seared Sliced Ostrich Filet over Port Wine Demi w/ Roasted Red Potatoes & Asparagus - $39.50"

Ignoring the non-appetizing aspects of the entrée, for that price we can both have burgers and a round at The Triangle Pub!

The gentleman over here prefers MacDonald's at $14.99 for two. And that includes two big coffees and some fries.

Susie and I had Ostrich in Hong Kong years ago. We both realized we had had it before at Chinese restaurants but it was labeled as "beef." It was very good.

I am fond of emu, which I enjoyed in Australia; AFTER one of the suckers BIT Me! Evil foul fowl!

And Dave, I guess I'd take ostrich over cat or dog any day.

Since there are no reviews I take it that all your readers passed on this weekend's special. Since Mike said it tastes like chicken I myself found no reason to partake.
